Ms Whiley, Principal at the Brittons Academy, sent a message to parents earlier, addressing the weather conditions forecast over the next few days; ‘Having assessed the conditions in school today, taken advice from Havering and met with our Trust partner schools, we have made the decision to release students at 12:15 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. This is in the best interests of both students and staff safety and wellbeing with temperatures set to increase significantly.
KS3 students are directed to complete work set on Sparx Maths, Reader or Science platforms and KS4 students signposted towards personal revision using the resources already uploaded on the Year 10 Team.’
Year 6 Meet the Tutor Day will proceed as planned.
