Before Easter, the Academy had a fantastic time celebrating Culture Day. Students and staff wore clothes that represented their culture and years 7,8 and 9 enjoyed a special showcase assembly featuring singing, dancing, poetry and speeches from the diverse range of cultures we have at the academy. During the showcase, live performances were interspersed with the awarding of prizes for those who won the various cultural competitions students entered in the weeks building up to Culture Day. Thanks to all the performers and competition winners involved.
