Earlier this week, Betsy in year 7 won a Jack Petchey Outstanding Achiever Award for her outstanding achievement and effort in football. Betsy’s club Byron Red Star FC described how ‘she plays with a spirit and a heart far bigger than anyone else on the pitch’ and how ‘after breaking her arm with four weeks left in a season, she continued to attend every game’. Today, at Brittons, Betsy demonstrated similar confidence and resilience as she ably and articulately represented her form at the latest Student Council meeting. Congratulations, Betsy.
