The members of Gardening Club were delighted to receive the newest addition to their growing garden this afternoon – a bag of worms. The students can now populate their wormery and produce a natural fertiliser. Over the last year, Ms Wallace and the team have completely transformed one of the school’s courtyards in to a living, breathing, green space complete with a greenhouse brimming with tomatoes and, as featured in the picture, some beautiful flowers (not to mention the brand new worms). The tomatoes, we have been reliably told, are delicious. We look forward to seeing how this space and others across the Academy benefit from the team’s green fingers.
