Non Fiction November Launched

This week, in a series of assemblies, Mr Shercliff launched ‘Non Fiction November’. This year’s theme is ‘Storytelling’. To illustrate the power of non fiction storytelling, he told a story about an Atomic Bomb survivor he met in Hiroshima and read a description of the football journalist Jonathan Wilson’s relationship with his father and with football. Students were invited to enter their own non fiction stories about their family or friends into a schoolwide competition. The best entries will receive a prize and will be included in a ‘Brittons Non Fiction Storytelling Anthology’. Entries need to be submitted to Mr Shercliff or a member of the English Department by 30th November.
