Last Saturday, a group of year 7 and 8 girls from the Academy had the amazing opportunity to follow in the bootsteps of England’s World Cup winning Red Roses and play at Twickenham. The girls had a fantastic time and as well as meeting World Cup winner Sarah Bern in person, they won 3 out of their 4 matches (including a 3-0 victory over our ELAT colleagues at Hall Mead).
